It is officially not summer now.
Ok, technically summer has been over for a while, but it has been warm enough around here to still feel like summer. Not any more. This week, it finally got cold enough for me to pull out the extra blankets, dig out my long sleeve shirts, and bring down the space heater from the attic.
My family has started to plan for Christmas. By this I mean pulling out the calendars and co-ordinating with our in-laws to see what day my brother, my sister and I can all be at our parent's house together. Trying to match our schedules is like trying to solve a giant 10,000 piece jig saw puzzle.
Otherwise things are going well. I hope I've bought enough Halloween candy to hand out to all the kids, but not too much that I'll be tempted to snack on Halloween candy until February. It's tough to know how much candy to buy your first year in a new town!
