Job Hunt Update
Well.. I've sent resumes and applied at three different places where I was guaranteed jobs. I haven't heard back from any of them, except for to hang on because all three companies do want to hire me. The reality is that I will probably take two of the jobs, but I am completely broke. My car payment was due yesterday. I have about a quarter of a tank of gas, and I'm bored out of my mind. So tomorrow, I may get up and go to manpower and/or labor ready just to try to have something to do to occupy my time while I wait to hear from these other three jobs. Either that, or I may just start applying everywhere and take whatever comes along....
Gotta Move On Outta Here!
My seasonal depression (and in-part cultural depression) has gotten worse every year that I've been back in the midwest. This year, I found it particularly hard to even leave the house at times. I have come to the decision that it's time to move again. I'm considering three different places. All of which, I have friends there and have lived there before. If you live in New York City, Orange County/Los Angeles/Hollywood, CA or Jacksonville, FL, be expecting a visit from me in the next two months or so, as I'm going to make my rounds and apply for some jobs and maybe go to a few band auditions to try to figure out which city is going to suit me best at this time in my life....
