backstory: Cherry needs inspiration. I say "I'd let you have the girl that inspires me, but you prolly wouldn't let her leave." Girl and Cherry talk and Cherry is impressed with glorybox111's journal and thinks that's what inspires me... her words...
Well, Cherry(and anyone else)... the reason I said you'd have to have her visit to appreciate her is because her words don't even begin to explain how wonderful she is. You don't fully understand the way someone can inspire you until you come home from work and find them surrounded by crayons and colored pencils because they were drawing all day in their pajamas, inbetween playing with mice and kitties (not at the same time) and chasing the dog around just to make her bark... to see how they playfully pretend to not notice you looking at them, just so you continue to do it, even when your nose is pressed against their cheek.
Seeing her the way she is is what inspires me, not how she talks, what she says, or her message... it's how she makes me feel when she says it, like she knows she doesn't know everything, but she still believes every word of what she says, and makes me want to believe it too. How she always seems to find just the right way to lay against me and let me hold her as we both try to fit on a couch that's far too small for two people... Every time I see her talking to her cat like it's a child, or arguing with her mice like they should know better than to knock all the food out of their dish, it does it to me... The way she is, not just what she says... there's so much more than what you could ever understand just reading words on a webpage. She inspires me, not to write more, or to draw more, or to go back to school or anything like that... she makes me want to do whatever I want! She has this way of just making me want to do, and want to be, and want to live more than I ever have before, and to do it all with her... When she's around, I'm always trying to be more than I used to be, trying to live up to my full potential... partly just to keep up with her, and partly just to be as much to her as she is to me. So that one day, when we're all old and wrinkled and our grandkids are running around falling out of trees we planted when we first bought the house, our 12 dogs and 30 cats roaming the acres and acres that our land covers, and we're sneaking booty pinches in our rocking chairs on the porch when no one else is looking, I can look at her and smile at everything around us... and say "Thanks for being the one who made this happen."
That's what I mean when I say she inspires me...
