Holy crap... nice last couple of days... Let's recap, shall we?

I got pulled over the other day on a mission to get gas. I was riding the E-line and figured I'd just roll along this main strip near the one mall in Pittsburgh. Well, this was at about 5:30am and of course there was about 4-5 gas stations I passed that were closed, and I was just starting to think it'd have been best if I just went home and worried about it the next day before work. So naturally I decide to unknowingly make an illegal left turn right in front of a cop. *weeeeeeeEEEEEEeeeeeew the lights and siren come on* K, now normally this isn't so bad, you pretend you didn't know you did something wrong and hope the cop takes pity on you. Well, I didn't know I'd made an illegal turn, that much was true... however, I DID know that I was driving on an expired out of state license on expired out of state license plates with no insurance... Maybe I'm a low ambition thrill seeker, I dunno, but I just never got that stuff taken care of when I moved. ANYWAY, it's really amusing what shit goes through your head when you're in a situation like that... I was sitting there thinking to myself, "Hmmm, if i throw it in reverse real quick and ram him, maybe I can take off and do a U-turn outta this parking lot and make a high speed escape!" And then the practical side of my brain was all "No way man, too easily identifible(sp?) with a smashed bumper and all, plus, have you ever noticed how slow your car accellerates? Dude, you'd be hard pressed to get out of the parking lot before he walks over and beats you thru the window with his billy club." Damn logical side of my brain, always taking away my fun... Then I started thinking about how cool it would be to have a James Bond car, or even the car that Jackie Chan had in the old Canonball Run movies... but once again, fuckin logic. grrrrr Anyway, somehow, the guy decided to take it easy on me and let me keep the car, when he damn well knows he shouldda towed it... and only gave me tickets for the license and plates, no illegal turn. He also added that if I get the stuff taken care of before my hearing, the judge may wave the fees altogether, which makes me a very happy panda. It prolly has something to do with the fact that I blew him through the window when he was calling in my license and spit it back in his mouth and... no wait, I'm sorry, I didn't do that. It was an entertaining notion but... *ahem* not really. So I have a car, which is good, because the day right after that...

I RODE HORSIES!

Of course I got the horsie who had just lost a shoe earlier that day and had to walk all slow cause we were mostly on gravel, so here's me all hanging out in the back of the pack while glorybox and our friend were up ahead laughing at me... fuckers. But I had the camera and was the one taking all the pictures, so there's none of me all pouting in the back.It was a pretty fun day tho, and our puppy was all flipping out because she'd never seen anything quite so big up close before, so she was all scared of the horsies and kept walking on her back legs to try and see us when we were in the stalls. I love that dog.

Oh, and on a final note, after riding horses, we watched this fucked up gameshow... I forget what it's called but what they do is keep the contestants up for 24 hours before the show and make them read all these books and study all this stuff and they can't sleep at ALL for a full day before the show. Then, once the show starts, they have to walk on these huge hamster wheels to stay awake while the teams take turns being quized and doing these weird ass physical challenges while answering questions... and the team that wins goes on and has a chance to win... $10,000. That's it. that's the grand prize. I don't know about you, but if I went through all that crap, I'd want a potentially larger prize. Granted I'd like to have that much money, but you split it with your teammate, and you're down to $5000, and all the sudden, taking your chances on the Price is Right didn't sound so bad after all, did it?

I'm out... Smiley Face Parade!!!
