so i have discovered a neat site.
www.tiles.ice.org
its "quilt" site where you log in and jump through a few hoops and then you look on the upper left corner and you can work on a tile for the quilt you have selected (only one was available tonight). it takes some reading to actually figure out how to work it, or at least it did for me. but like the stats say im big and dumb.
you save a 128x128 image that has one or more borders but nothing in the middle. you then construct the middle and upload it back to the site, when the quilt is done its all visible, a full quilt is usually 4-12 by 4-12 tiles of 128x128 images. very neat collaborative anonymous art.
art is pretty neat.

mambo has graduated from chasing his tail to chasing us. seriously. he's 8 weeks old but i'm beginning to think he's the devil. *grin* only he's so damn cute after he finally tires himself out and passes out on my belly, purring up a little kitten storm....
