fighting on the internet is like...
yeah.. we've all seen that picture.
I understand that the internet is a pretty neat way to talk freely.
Though lots of arguments are around us all the time.
Its hard not to fight back with cruel and horrible words, I have personally gotten into trouble with many sites when I was a bit younger for saying very offensive stuff to someone who was picking on a post I created.
Now, I tend to steer myself away from hatred or arguments both in real life and on the internet, but there are some people who fiend for it.
All my thoughts about this subject all go into one realization...
Would you argue with a total stranger in a dark alley?
Like.. lets use this as an example.. If you saw someone make fun of someone else across the street that you found extremely offensive. Would you initiate the confrontation?
I sure as shit wouldn't.... that's a good way to get your teeth knocked out.
So why do it online?
Because the person can't possibly find out where you live? You can sit in your PJ's and hate on the world?
is it because your own online "gang" will join up and dismantle any words the person could fight back with?
Then there's some people who accidentally say something stupid, but are jumped on because the stereotype points to "this kid is fucking stupid"
and stereotyping is a form of racism..
Let's not argue, punch a punching bag, and let the admins do their job.. warnings and bans are the ultimate form of fuckoffery.
toodles!
