Okay...so i went against my Doctors orders ...and not only did i ride my quad ... but i entered and rode in the 2nd Round of the Kzn Regional Off Road series.
Yes,it was a very silly thing to do,especially only after 3 weeks of having shoulder surgery.
But what can i say,i am a die hard petrol head, and anyone who has ever raced knows how difficult it is to Just say No.
The race comprised of 2 x 96 km loops (120 miles)which was made up of Forestry tracks,Sugar cane, bush paths and some very rough rocky off camber sections.
Out of 147 starters ,i ended up finishing 11th overall and 3rd in my class.
So all the pain was worth it for my first podium win for the season.
Now all i have to do is convince my Doctor(when i see him later today)that my shoulder is broken again, due to taking my Ridge back for a walk.
