Did that on the second day here, and it still looks (and feels) much the same. What was worse is that I was crossing the road at the time, and a car was coming (nowhere near me, but they stopped when they saw me.) So as I got up, I was:
a) Trying not to slip again.
b) Nursing my elbow.
c) Trying to explain to the car that stopped that I was okay.
d) Trying to explain to the car that stopped that I didn't speak Norwegian and hence couldn't understand them.
e) Swear. Loudly.
So that aside, I've been having a great time. So far I've recorded four bands (Broken Chords - more on them in a minute, Sixx, Hello Kitty Rollercoaster and Murder Object) and I've got the Astatines coming tomorrow to record all weekend. I don't know how I'm going to fit in all the mixing before Monday, but the Astatines aren't arriving until around 6pm tomorrow (and there's a guitar overdub to do for Murder Object at 9:30am) so I should be okay.
Right, well here's the REALLY cool news... I was in the local newspaper, AND I was on the local radio!
Both sets of press came at the same time... at 2pm, whilst I was still asleep due to being at an amazing party the night before where I took in so much Norwegian culture it's untrue. Anyway, I crawled out of bed and straight into the studio (where they were waiting) and gave my interviews and played the track by Broken Chords (they were the band chosen to be featured alongside me.) The radio programme made quite a joke of me being hungover and tired, but apparently "I have a good radio voice."

So there you have it. I'm big in Norway.

Whoa, time has flow by. I can't believe it's been over a week already! I'm accustomed to the permanent darkness, and even the cold... I can't deal with the damn ice, as this picture shows:
