Whoa.

On my way home from work, I stopped by my friend's workshop. He makes the most beautiful ukuleles that you will ever see. He's also started to make acoustic guitars. I think that for most people, starting to make something like an acoustic guitar might mean that your first... several dozen?... will be varying degrees of crap.

Not so for him. The only guitar I've even held in my hands that was nicer than this guitar is one that his dad made.

Anyways, I'm at his workshop and we're talking. I'm asking him about the website he wants me to make. He wants images of guitars combined with images of women, showing how the two shapes mirror each other. I need to get photos of curves, essentially. No boobs, no ass and definitely no muff; just hips, backs and shoulders. And I tell him that he needs to have instruments on hand for me to photograph.

Whaddya know? He has a uke and a guitar that I can take with me right now and keep for a while. And the sun's about to go down, so I admit I didn't stay at or below the speed limit. I got to the beach just in time. See?
