I think I might have to go to Seattle. One reason to go is my brother recently moved there from San Francisco. I prefer San Francisco over Seattle, but Seattle's about 14 hours closer. And he might want to borrow or buy one of my guitars.
The other reason - the better reason - is that the Burke Museum in the Univerity of Washington recently added the skeleton of a 10-foot-tall duck to their collection. A TEN FOOT TALL DUCK!

Would anybody be surprised to learn that ducks of that size come from Australia? No? Didn't think so. Australia has the only killer octopus (as big as a golfball, glows blue when angry and has enough venom to kill 28 adult humans), most of the remaining marsupials, mammals that lay eggs and have poisoned spikes, and far more deadly snakes than it would ever be safe to shake a stick at. So why not ducks that dwarf gorillas; ducks that could easily kill you by mistake?
This is just too fucking cool.
