A vet dropped a chinchilla off at our house yesterday for fostering. Holy fuck is she soft and cute! And huge! I thought the degu was big. And I suppose the degu is big when compared to the gerbils, but the chinichilla is like a small rabbit. We are going to call her "Pelt".

Spit and I went to King's trivia last night. Our third team member stood us up, but we stilll did alright against some of the 6 member teams. Spit saved our ass in the art history round and I was 10/10 on the LA punk song ids. wink We're heading back next week and looking for team members.

Oh man, I'm awful at that game. I have pathetic Jewgirl rhythym...it's fun to flail around though. I went to Florida last year and in an arcade I saw a rather large, older gentleman playing and KICKING ASS. It was strangely erotic. confused

Spit and I just got back from the grocery store. Spit is a coupon-clipping freak and we just got $240 worth of groceries for $80. I suppose it is dorky to brag about coupon savings, but holy fuck! $160 worth of coupons?

I have a new favorite bar in town. Spit and I stumbled across the Metro last night. They said it has only been open a week or so. So why is it my favorite? They were showing Pee Wee's Playhouse videos on the TV. A boxset of those videos is the only thing I ever bought off a late-night TV infomercial.

Damn USA and their Law and Order:SVU reruns. They've forced me to change my crush from Alyson Hannigan to Mariska Hargitay. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. With her being Jayne Mansfield's daugther, I didn't stand a chance.

last xmas a friend gave me the poster that originally came with the "frankenchrist" lp. it was the geiger print that was the original cover that lead to biafra's arrest. it's one of my most prized possesions.
the album itself is very dark and it took a while for me to realize it, too. "a growing boy needs his lunch" is pretty much a suburban dirge and "stars and stripes of corruptions" remains my lamented matra to this day.
