So....
For those of you who didn't know there's something wrong with my right inner ear, there's something wrong with my right inner ear.
Long story short, it's been about two months of chasing sinus infections, allergies, and such, and we've finally settled on something called "endolymphatic hydrops." That's when the inner ear makes too much fluid. It drips like a leaky faucet and plugs up my hearing. Also at it's worst, it's uncomfortible. And distracting.
But it's been a lot better since last week.
Good news...this usually goes away with meds...after a few months. It's good news because if left untreated, this could become Meniere's disease...when the balance portions of the inner ear are affected...leading to severe dizziniess and all that that implies. Vomiting. Confusion. Et Cetera.
So I'll probably be fine. But it's a little worriesome. Especially at night.
But lesson to you all: GET MEDICAL INSURANCE. This is annoyingly expensive even with medical insurance, but I probably would have just sucked it up until it went away if I didn't have coverage. And it would have come back...worse each time, until I became a dizzy, vomiting, half deaf wreck.
Now for the rest...Actors...especially working ones...are very slow to read scripts...even those that are highly recommended by legitimate producers and agents. So we might have to start raising money without one attached in order to make our schedule. Because people working on Die Hard 4 don't have time to read an unfunded indie film...which is too bad.
Let's give him another week.
Oh well, this movie is inevitable. Try to evit. You can't.
ONWARD.

I really love that you have "tank guy" up as your profile pic. I really love that picture. I just watched a documentary on the massacre and was unaware as to how many people actually died and the extent of the brutality that occured. It makes that picture even more significant to me knowing how at risk that guy was. At one point in the doco they held that photograph up to a bunch of uni students (from the same uni that was involved in the protests) and they had no idea what it represented. They asked things like what the context was and if it was photoshopped. I found that unbelievably sad. They also showed what you get if you do a Google search for "Tiananmen Square" in China compared with doing a search in any western country. The whole time I was watching all I could think was "No good can come from hiding the past".
Anyway, I've rambled a bit but that's my take on it.
