Ok its offical i hate my fucking job. ALL that i do is round dough. The chef is never there and the guy i have to work with wont even teach me how much we are need to produce on a day to day basis. Also the chef is susposed to give my school a schedule of when we will be rotating stations in the kitchen (which he hasnt) right now i am in bread and i am pretty sure the chef has it in his mind that that is where im going to be for the entire externship which is not cool at all. I am not a baker at all... i took the job here because it offered me a chance to do many different things ie: bake bread, pastry cook and hot line, not to get stuck doing the one thing in the kitchen that absolutely hate. i mean it is great for me to do that for a little while but not the whole time. and yesterday i asked for formulas so i will know his processes for baking the bread he wouldnt give me any. i mean what the fuck is that. i feel like i am just being used for cheap cheap labor ( i make 50% less than everyone else there) which is fine if i were ACTUALLY LEARNING something. uhhh the situation just really sucks

uh, yeah that sukks. We all go through bullshit like that. Sorry it is rough right now
venna:
Hey there. Sorry to hear the whole line of bullshit you have to deal with. You figure a business would be better organized, right? Did you try getting in touch with the chef to see what's up? And I'm guessing talking to the asswipe you work with wouldn't help much....Maybe your school can find you a different internship or something, though. In any event, good luck and I hope your personal life is doing a bit better than your professional one.
