man, i just wrote out an entry, then popped over to my dashboard and accidently hit my gmail widget, thus losing my entire entry. curses! well, originally i wrote about the awesomeness of tiger and widgets, but not anymore. anyway. my laptop broke last week. i suffered a data loss after having to power down manually. my keychains were pretty much non-existant. itunes kept complaining of a damaged library. all of my settings and preferences kept resetting themselves, even while i was using a program. a reinstall seemed like the only option. and then i upgraded to tiger. now i show off my widgets to PC users that happen to come over. those fuckers.
i had to reinstall warcraft which took like, a year. i must say, installing it last time was a hundred and forty three times more interesting. hopefully i will not have to do it again. i finally leveled my druid. she's 58 now. i was 57 for two months. i've decided to stop leveling though, given that d20 is a level behind and that slacker scopitone is like, 40 levels behind. i miss aircath. i greatly enjoy that i can actually quest now. two months later and i am finally not getting raped every two minutes. and now i have a mechanical yeti.
i still like caribou. on a slightly related note, happy canada day!
do you guys remember that episode of sliders with the gigantic flying spiders? no? yeah, that is because it didn't really happen. they were at the beginning of an episode on season one. they appeared just as they were about to slide. so fucking scary! i think a couple even flew through the slide, and yet nothing happened! such a waste. sliders so needs to make a comeback.
related to that last entry, things are still shitty. but looking better. i am now on contract with a certain gaming website for writing. details later. also, july 15th will be a good day. yes yes yes. no worries of gas or traffic.
i will be installing age of empires super soon. i'm excited. it was a gift you see. from scopitone. that guy showed up here last night with that, organic body scrub and shoes. he bought me shoes. kind of him. really. i love them. oh, diesel!
