yay!! dyme's set went up today! #34 is my favourite shot. this is exactly what i was talking about in my last entry. this girl is amazing. she was so much fun to have around.

last night i went to a concert. my town actually had one of my favourite bands come in. the stars played with gentleman reg. sadly, two pretty crappy bands had to play first. my friend informed me that the concert would start at 6:30, so i was picked up around that time. alas, she was.. sort of wrong. doors opened at 6:30. crappy pop punk bands then played for three hours. well, one hour was spent standing around. we escaped for a beer during the first band. we played the "this band member looks like so so" game with the second. we had a culkin, will farrell, and.. well someone irish. the 16 year old girls that were there were so terrible. they just kept flocking to anyone they saw that was in a band. i was reminded of why i am anti-all ages.

gentleman reg was really good. i had heard a bit of their stuff prior to the show. i was very pleased. they were amusing to say the least. i did happen to notice a sticker the bassist had. yes. an suicide girls sticker. i had intentions of talking to him to see if he was a member nad such, but i'm a big shy loser so i didn't. the stars came on after and played a good blend of new and old stuff. i think i am liking set yourself on fire more now. the slight change in sound is definitely growing on me.

i am having a huge craving for swordball right now. last night at the show i kept thinking about it. i think it is the only game that i am good at. and by good i mean not horrendously terrible. this is probably because of the big guiding arrow. haha. practice is still needed. i can't anticipate the onslaught of gunfire/rockets/plasma. yesterday a lot of coop was played. this game impresses me so much. i ♥ dual submachine guns.

i need some excitement. apart from shooting aliens. i need a trip. to somewhere other than vancouver or victoria.
