I had a girl's night on Friday revolving around seeing He's Just Not That Into You. The more I think about it, the more I disliked the movie. The previews made it look fairly funny (and I'm not gonna lie, it was funny in parts), but man, I felt like it was talking down to me, as a woman, the entire time. Depicting every woman in the movie as either some variant of crazy, needy and without any personal independence, and all the men being women haters and happily taking advantage of them. It felt like the movie version of reading a Cosmopolitan.
Do girls really act that way? It left me feeling confused. It was so cynic, anti-woman yet cheesy?! How is that even possible.
Anyway!
I need your halps!
One of the main themes in negative feedback I received on my last set was about lack of ideas. Which is true! I've been on SG for what feels like forever, and I am totally drawing a blank at set ideas. Do you have any ideas you would love to see me shoot?!
Also, does anyone have an invite to a music torrent site they could pass along to me?
And check out my flickr!

hhmm. set ideas. i'm thinking the ever-abreast-of the-cutting-edge Posh would look smoken hot doing a kind of post-apocalyptic, bombed out bunker, uber-tech web girl thing. more sleek and seductive than cyber punk but with the high brow sci-fi of blade runner. a cross between tank girl and sean young's replica from BR.
but hell...you're so fine i'd be happy with a "taking out the garbage" themed set.
