Well, what a past few days I've had,

I was on a work night out on Thursday.

Some new folk were just finishing training that day and were spending some time listening in and getting to know the department.

I spy a girl in a "Jackass" t-shirt.

'Cool' I think.

Later that night I'm sitting talking to a mate and she comes over looking for me, have been told there was someone else in the department who was into rock music and had been pointed my way.

We get chatting and I mention the Amen gig, saying I've no one to go with.

She expresses surprise that they're playing and mentions she'd love to go.

I ask her to go with me.

She says yes.

I'm major league happy.

Today at work, I won an iPod Mini, 4 Gig.

I'm having a pretty awesome few days.
