Summer is officially over for me.
I awoke this morning to find the street lights still on. It was approximately six forty-five am.
Sun lays it's blanket of pastel grey.
As the suberbs sleep, as the suberbs creep;
Slowly closer to the light-cropped day.
The sun in the corner looks weak.
Bye-bye sunshine. It's been great. You've filled me with warmth and visibily changed me. But I know you'll be back next year. I hope you enjoy the southern hemisphere.

No, I was really working at my parents' shop, nobody to kick
and with all the extra hours I've made, I'm waiting for a lot of money very soon
