Aloha.
Blood on Our Hands ( Justice Remix = )
I am leaving while you turn away
In the basement is where I'm going to stay
There is blood in all the things I say
Will you hate me if I stay this way?
From the bedroom, where we're running from
There's a sequel to the things I've done
You're a woman, we both know it's true
By the things that I have done to you
There is blood on all the shoes you've worn
From the people you've been stepping on
There is blood in all the things you say
I won't hate you if you go away
There is blood on our hands again
From the bedroom is where we will
Bring it back to the start again
Bring it back to the love we had
I can't stop listening to Death From Above 1979. I need to go out where there's some dirty dance music playing, take lots of drugs, and dance till I can't stand anymore.
I've stayed in the last two weekends, and i've loved it. This weekend me and my baby have seen literally no-one but each other. We "watched films" on Friday night, then on Saturday I had my peepers checked (I need new lenses cause my far-sight has got worse) and we shopped all day. We spent a good hour buying clothes and cuddly toys for my 5 month old cousin. I found the cutest cardigan-coat thing in H&M kids section with loads of reindeer on. It's like infant Napoleon Dynamite.
I also took her to a toy shop *mistake* where she bought a Tamagotchi-type-thing. Honestly. It's like babysitting sometimes . Anyway it's a racoon called Goran. She had lots of fun playing with it while we drank tea and coffee and ate shortbread and muffins, however when she checked it this afternoon (she's so irresponsible) it was dead. I don't think we'll be getting a dog anytime soon. Or even a stick insect.
We watched Narnia which was really good (best feature - the White Witch, fucking scary and handy with a sword), and then we went home and watched Elf and Shaun of the Dead before "watching films" and falling asleep all dopey and happy. This morning we had cereal, then we drew cards for people. The one she drew will be winging it's way to someone very soon, the other is a birthday card for Dawnii, who will hopefully be tattooing a beautiful anchor on my leg this week.
Shower. Lots of drying. Another shower. Tea. Spiderman. Dinner. Cuddles. Goodbye.
I really don't like Sundays. This one went so quick too.
This week I have lots of fun things to look forward to. Tomorrow i'm going to London to see the HorrorPops with Munch, which we've been looking forward to since we bought the tickets back in... oooh... September. Then I have work at my new kick-ass job all week, a visit from Munch on Wednesday, then Saturday it's the Christmas party. We're going out for a lovely meal. I believe i'll be having parsnip soup, venison, and belgian waffles. Mmm. Then we're going partying, and the best thing about all this is that we are going smart (i.e. I get to steal clothes from Frankie's wardrobe again!) Oh I love that lady, and all her glorious clothes. She's in Berlin at the moment at the tattoo convention and I miss her. She's back at work on Wednesday though, so I won't be alone anymore in promoting Christmas spirit at the shop.
This week I had my medusa pierced, and another conch piercing. And to think I used to play with the photocopier when I was bored at my last job. Hehehe. Boredom-aleviating-stabbings. Ja.
Nothing says love like a puncture wound xXx
