Back to school.
So, today was the first day back at work after a much needed (and very hectic) half term. It was also my first time commuting the much longer distance since moving out of living with the ex last week. It actually made very little difference to how long it took me to get to work, it's just more time sat on the train and less time getting to the station, which is a massive bonus with winter coming up. I'd much rather have a sub 5 minute skate and be on a train for longer than having to cycle the 2.5 miles to get to the station like before.
So, with all this time sat on the train in my foreseeable future, does anyone have any recommendations for things I should get my hands on to read? I think I need to re-read the hobbit, seeing as I haven't read it since I was a kid and the film's out soonish, but I could use something more... real too. I've recently read Dawkin's "the magic of reality" which I loved, and I've already read a few of his others, I'm thinking maybe some Hitchens?
Anyway, hope all are well and happy.
Dave.
