I'm bummed about Beagle 2 also... but haven't completely given up hope yet.

As for the SGNY party - I think it's supposed to be for SGNY members. I actually thought you were in group already. I can ask and see if you can just come along with me (or just come along anyway). If you want to apply to the group - we just reviewed applications for new members two days ago so we probably won't do it again for at least another week.
