The last few days have been hectic.
Thursday: I went to Immigration and was told that I had to leave the territory on Friday. That didn't make me too happy. I was told I could come back when my Immigration paperwork was finished. I also had to go to a spa on Peter Island, BVI. I had a job interview and had to give the spa director a massage. I was extremely tired after all of that and packing a suitcase that I went to bed early.
Friday: I had to take the 7:00 am ferry to Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. First thing I did was go to a local Police station and have a background check done on myself. That was quick and so easy. I was off to a great start. After that, I took safari bus to the airport to try to get my return flight ticket extended. The Delta Airlines counter wasn't open.
I called the Delta phone number and was told that the counter was only open from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm--Monday-Friday. I couldn't wait around, I had a doctor's appointment at 1:00 pm. I took a taxi from the airport to Red Hook. That is where the doctor who has been completing my medical paperwork is. I arrived there between 9:00-10:00 am. The doctor could not see me an earlier than my 1:20 appointment. I decided that if I had to wait, I'd rather wait at a spa. I had a 1 hour "spa" pedicure. It was wonderfully relaxing. Just what I needed to destress. I ended up staying there for two hours. I then went to my doctor's appointment, all relaxed. I was only there a few minutes, the doctor looked at my immunization form that I brought, signed my paperwork and let me go. Yay! I took another taxi back to the airport, finally saw someone at the Delta counter. I was able to extend my ticket. I was FINALLY done with all my paperwork.
I took the 4:15 pm ferry back to Tortola, BVI. Went to the Dove, in Roadtown, drank too many champagne cocktails with my boyfriend, came home and passed out. It was a long day.
