Like a good Englishman, David Beckham has resigned his captaincy of the English soccer team after being defeated in the World Cup by Portgual.
"I have lived the dream," the 31-year-old Beckham told reporters before England left Baden-Baden in southern Germany for home. "I'm extremely proud to have worn the armband and been captain of England, and for that I will always be grateful."
I love David Beckham. He still has Real Madrid though and I am sure he will still play for the English National Team.
He always has his hotness to fall back on as well.
