Hello! It's 3:42 am in the British Virgin Islands and I can't sleep. No big surprise. I've been having horrible cramps and my period twice a month for about a year now. I am having horrible cramps now. Yeah, probably don't want to hear about this. I have an appointment tomorrow to see a doctor in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands to finish up all of my medical paper work in order to stay here. The doctor wants to do a Well Woman's Exam, when did they start calling them that? I had cervical cancer at 19 and there is a family history. My mother had a full hysterectomy at age 30 because of cervical cancer and my Grandmother had a full hysterectomy at age 40 because of cervical cancer. Lucklily at 19, the doctors found it early and treated it but this new doctor I am seeing and the nurse in his office says that as much as my periods have changed the cancer could be back. I hope not. I guess I will find out soon. I know this is heavy stuff but I have noone to talk to it about. My friends and family are at least 1000 miles away from me and my parents don't deal with heavy stuff very well. They freak and get all mean and weird. Anyways, I feel better just typing it out, making it real. Until later.

Wow, that sounds scary. Let us know what happens........ they've been calling it a well woman's exam ever since I started getting them... which was about 6 years ago I guess.
