So, as those of you who pay attention know, I moved into a new place about a month ago. For the most part, I have been stuck in Army housing for the majority of the last seven years plus, meaning I haven't had a kitchen of my own since... Well, I never had a kitchen of my own. In both cases where I've had my own place until now, I've had roommates, and at any given time, a female roommate who took ownership of the kitchen. So now, it's all mine. I'm realizing every time I try to cook something, that I don't have everything I need. Since I'm broke until payday (well, I have twenty bucks, but that goes in my gas tank tomorrow), I am at the point where I am bribing friends of mine with me cooking for them if they bring me various and sundry items like and onion and three cloves of garlic. Still, I'm doing alright. I am guessing I'll have a fully functional kitchen ready to take on all comers by mid-March.
In other news, Battlestar Galactica continues to blow my mind. I am actually happy that the best-written show on television is ending. Stories need a beginning, middle, and end. Or they just ramble on. The X-Files, Buffy, all of these started off great but ended weakly.
West Ham put up a good fight, but ultimately lost to Manchester Fucking United this morning.
Trevor is back from Iraq for good. I am mostly happy for Sid. She can finally be complete now. I think I have one deployment left. Hopefully it'll be a short one. We'll see. A lot is in flux.
I might sneak out of the house this weekend and go to Denver. Anything going on?

I recently moved too. I still have half my stuff in boxes, so I can relate. Glad you finally have your own kitchen though. That's a good feeling, huh?
