LOONG weekend, Long week already and it's only Tuesday!!
I'm taking time out of studying to post a little blog to catch up.
Lets see.. Had a great little party Friday night with some friends from school, good way to relax, booze, pot, and boobs. My favorite.
The next morning I found a pit bull in the road on my way home and he jumped right into my car when I opened the door. Sweet sweet boy. I called a bunch of vets and tried to locate a rescue but eventually had to just take him to Animal Control who WOULDNT TAKE HM becuase it was the weekend. After two hours of trying to find a way to help him I had to beg them to take him because I wasn't able to keep him for the weekend and what else could I do? I did ask all the local vets to place found ads for the boy so I really hope someone will come and get him.
Horse Show Sunday went really well. Stayed at trainers house and woke up at 5:00 am to her baby crying. We loaded the horses up at 6 and hit the road. My mom, sister on law, neices and aunt and uncle came out to watch me ride. Clover aka the Blonde Bomb (he's a palomino) blew up a bit in the first test (it ws his very first show and I think he got scared when we moved to the ring and he couldn't see any other horses). Our second test rocked though and we got 3rd place. Good Boy Clover!
I'm still having it rough with my back and being tired and stuff which is so frustrating. But today I took some tylenol to try to help, and just a little while ago I ran four laps around the house which brought up my heart rate and made me feel more energized. As soon as possible I'll get back to my doctor and my chiropractor.
Oh and yesterday I placed my very first IV catheter on the first try! I was so excited, I thought it would be so hard but it was a piece of cake. which means next time will be nearly impossible LOL
Ok back to my anesthesia notes. Test is on Thursday, not looking forward to it, I still have so many questions! Argh!
