So, here's what happened...................

They fired me.
I know, I know. I've never been fired before and I realized when you really hate the job, it's not too bad. Weird thing is, they gave me a raise, fired me, told me I did a "great" job and that they would give me a good reference, and then paid me through the end of the month. Look strange to you too? Word around the menorah is that they couldn't own up to my questions about unpaid taxes and CA employment code, so they decided to ax me. 
So, at the risk of sounding like a disgruntled employee.... I reported them to the IRS today. I had already filled out the form last week becuase I was fed up, but today I thought I'd just calll it in myself. The other employees are calling my severence pay a futile attempt to bribe me.
Crazy. I can't believe I worked there as long as I did. I outlasted the other 8 people in the position before me, though!
I hear that getting fired can skyrocket a person's career becuase it motivates one to get the ball rolling with their own dreams. Guess I'm about to find out. Anybody need to hire a writer??? Cheap rates and I can charm the pants off a

Severence is always nice, never quite enough, but nice. I love when people try to bribe me, I always take the bribe but then do what I was going to do in the first place. Seems to me that will backfire one day...
