Wow, finally some rest. After 5 days of various activities I can sleep tonight. Friday went out with my friend Youlia to the ICA event where we sneaked in without having to pay the grotesque $20 cover charge, thank god for Bulgarian connections. Why do my eyes look so terrible in this photos? Oh yeah, 'cause I was about 4 G&Ts down at that point. Then Saturday I planned on playing the role of a good boy but realized I had a really nice bottle of Merlot that felt neglected for the last few weeks, and it was only 6pm so I figured WTF, Y not. Sunday I dragged myself out of bed feeling like shit at 6 am, 'cause I had to try out the new snowboard. Went up to Mt Sunapee and rode for 7 hrs, ok, lying here, took 30 min lunch break and 3 10 min smoke breaks. Got caught in 93 traffic in NH, almost fell asleep driving but got home around 6pm, took a 30 minute power nap with my puppy. Then went out to see a band totally not in normal musical genre of favorites called plushgun, again with my friend Youlia. Much better live than on their cd. They had a really great stage presence, and 40% of the music was cool just because of the lyrical content, but really wished I could take a clipper to that nasty chest hair peaking out of his shirt, but that's cool, some people are into the Neanderthal thing.
But cool lead singer, very creative, very confident. Which kinda took me by surprise 'cause he looked like I should look being a computer geek, but seemed very nice. "Dark in you" was my favorite, btw in case anyone wants to check them out.

Back to the story at hand, got up Monday morning, probably a little late for work but oh well. Decided I was going to do a little hot room power yoga monday night, still probably hung over, to punish myself for staying out late on a school night
So after a day before snowboarding, asked my friend Stephanie if she was going she said not on monday but tuesday. So I went on monday by myself, got my ass kicked, but loved every minute of the terrible sweat in a 105 degree, >40% humidity performing yoga, which proves we all have a little S&M in us.
Was dry monday night and got this great idea of pushing the envelope and doing it again tonight, not such a great idea. Never had to take the child pose but felt like I was about to pass out a few times none the less. didn't lose it though. So now I feel like I'm 100% ready for the Park City trip though, 'cause snowboarding is so much easier than doing back to back days hot room power yoga. But this weekend I'm doing b2b days of 7 hrs of snowboarding in N. Conway...stay tuned if I still feel the same way on Sunday night.
Oh almost forgot...
This is major tom to ground control
Im stepping through the door
And Im floating in a most peculiar way
