Home again, home again....
We told parents about the engagement tonight, and since I come from a long of criers, they did not disappoint with the emotional fanfare, in their native languages no less because English was just not working to convey their excitement. Spanish or Polish, no matter, it was all joy and "thank Jeebus someone married her." Eh, some things never change. Good thing I didn't take my girlfriend home during the Lesbian years!
My parents love Jamie, esp. my dad. He says he knew from the day he met him. Yeah, papi, so did I.

You look hangout-worthy.
We'll get these crazy holidays out of the way (just had an e-mail conversation earlier today with T about things we should lay off of until New Year's to save money for all the shopping'n stuff we need to do, plus going to Michigan for Xmas) and then figure some stuff out when the dust settles.
