So the @bloghomework is 4/3: If you could be tattooed by anyone, who and what would it be, and why?
This one is tough for me because I admire so many artists. My boyfriend has been tattooing for years and I've become quite obsessed with following the work of so many.
I've been dying to get some hand poke done and am looking to travel to London to see Grace.
I love her energy and work. I've been a fan of hers for a long time, even before she was so big.
Mikaela is another hand poke artist I adore. She's so bubbly and laid back and I love to spend a day with her.
And then there is the amazing artist Shige. He works for Yellow Blaze Tattoo in Japan. And he is by far one of the greatest. I would be so honored to get a Japanese piece done by him. I've loved every piece of art Ive seen by him and believe that his love for art really shows in his work.
There's also a local artist, Antonio Roque, that I've began to really love. My boyfriend has really admired his work for a long time and its rubbed off on me. I'm a huge lover of traditional art and Antonio is by far one of the best around here. It's known here as a "dead art" which really pisses me off because it's so beautiful and has more history and meaning behind that most of the stuff you see now. Anyway, Antonio Roque works at Black Label Tattoo Company in Frederick,MD.
