Went to the Zoo yesterday, I know I am vegetarian and against the exploitation of animals. But I still like to go to the zoo.
We happened to get to there at feeding time. We watched the octopus eat, the octopus eats squid, am I the only one that thinks thats strange...but it was really cool to watch the octopus turn from grayish-white to deep maroon-red in about 2 seconds. The apes were so cool, there were 2 little apes about 2-3 years old, and they kept fighting, the larger little ape kept trying to pull the littlest ape down off the ledge, they were so cute to watch.

I once read Next of Kin by Roger Fouts about chimps who learned sign language. It made me want to go to the university where Fouts is and study primates. After a few emails with Roger Fouts, I realized that he is absolutely insane, and trashed that idea. I think he might be insane just because he has so much love for what he does, and he is very protective of the chimps in his program. Whateva. Good read, if you ever have time though.
See ya people Saturday....hiccups or not
