Well, I had a interesting St.Patricks' Day. I got LAYED OFF FROM AN UNPAID POSITION! Room had to be made for an intern with a fancier last name than mine, so thre goes my job. At least the bars were open early yesterday. A two hour liquid lunch does much to improve one's perspective.
Anyway, at least I have a part-time job now, that pays! So not all bad.
After I work I went out with friends. My friend Cacie had a gig at the Brass Monkey. She completly kicked ass! Being under-21 she was also the designated driver, which was cool except that she left my parking break on
Anyway, I cleaned out my desk today (too sauced to remember to do it yesterday), got a photo op with the Congressman, and went on my merry way. But before I turned in my badge I took one last walk through the Capitol. I will really miss doing that.

So, I'm assuming there is no umemployment $$ to be gained from being layed off from an unpaid job? Hmmm, at least you have the part time one now.
