it was a good day.

i crawled out of bed around 10am this morning to the sound of lauren hill on my pc.

took a long warm bath.

strolled into work just after noon, brought serenity to the hectic morning and caught everyone up. spent the next 8 hours wandering around moonily picking up things, only to set them back down.

chatted on the phone to a good friend who expressed concern for me when she said, "you sound so.. happy."

realized that i WAS unusually happy. i'm in week-long-post-shag-drunkeness denial.

i met this fabulous, sexy, yummy, funny guy on thursday, and woke up in his arms friday morning. however that's nothing new, we all know that i meet random guys who rock my world and do me up the butt and whom i never call back.

however, i have been wearing his jacket non-stop all weekend and i love the way he smells.

came home at 8pm tonight to a message on my answer machine.

today was a good day.
