Shhhh...
Don't let on to anyone yet... But I'm really very happy with life right now.
Weird, right?
Given the last years events, ups and downs, and general changes in my situation, I've grown accustomed to being, well, miserable. I don't want to sounds like a pity case, but life has been endless toil for me. Losing a job during the current economical crisis was a huge blow, that, coupled with the tensions rising between and my then current girlfriend, led to our breakup. After that, I was booted from my home, and had to seek refuge with my sisters' ex partner.
Everything changing back to what is once was now though. I've been speaking to the ex alot recently, and in spite of her reservations and confused personal feelings, she is willing to see me again, and possibly try and make something of us again. now with the job thing being sorted out, I feel I can finally progress some in life. get ahead instead of being constantly behind and struggling. Home wise, it looks like I'm staying put right now, which is fine by me.
Sets I've liked recently are:
Nixon - Neck of the Woods
Sqeak - 'Nuff said
Starfuck - Follow the sun
And because she wears glasses, my favorite of the week Sysca - Nice n Easy
I finally got around to seeing some a new film recently, too:
Resident Evil: Afterlife.
Continues Paul W S Andersons' action packed version of the Capcom series. Alice, now free of the T Virus, searches for survivors in a zombie packed LA. wasn't bad as films go, abit too far removed from the games to be anything more than that, and its always nice to see Milla Jovavich on film.
I've been digging through old albums to listen too, and picking up some Chemical Brothers, Prodigy and other 90's classics to keep me entertained. New music hasn't been appealing to me much recently, I hope to hunt some new stuff down soon, its just hard digging through the crap to find a few pearls, you know?
Righto, I have to prepare for work and my job interview tomorrow. Have fun all!
