Hello all! How are we doing?
Its been another one of those weeks for me, with yet more drama with my ex, a lack of news from the second job and so on and so on. It feels like I've had nothing but problems for the last year, but then I remember that, on occasion, I was happy. Being content has never been something that has come easy to me. I've struggled with depression for years, so much so that this is just normal to me now, but when I was happy, I liked that feeling alot, and would really like a return to that. Still, even i know that takes work, and work I shall. My art is feeling more organic and free flowing now, and even though the original host fell through, I hope it'll be up and running soon. It's funny, I remember when I was drawing for pure pleasure, then something happened and I stopped almost completely for a while. Then when I finally decided to try this comic, it felt like it used to, all new and shiny.
Been really impressed with the member review sets gong up lately, with personal fav's being Douce_'s Nude Literature, Reuben_'s No Knickers (my personal favourite) and Lorette's Sexy Beat being the pick of the crop for me. Also, congrats to Pia for getting the front page with Fluor Love! Its a fantastic set, really bright and colourful.
I've been listening to nothing new lately. Just haven't had the time, and where i lost my iPod Touch (sobs), it just wasn't a priority. But, upon fixing my shuffle, I think I'll be looking into some new material by Daft Punk for the Tron Legacy soundtrack, Crystal Castles, plus Soundgarden (!) have a reported new album in the works, and that makes me moist.
I'm hoping to see a film this week with the Lovely 'Chelle. She's seen it already, but Inception is looking likely, with possibly The Expendables or A-Team as a back up.
okies, I'm off to doodle and shower, maybe not in that order.
