After the torrent of shit that was the past few months, I've reverted back to some of my old ways. Mainly computer games, doodling and slight alcoholic abuse.
Its nice to get back to how I was before. By no means was I a good person, or am I now, but its familiar and I'm in a better place right now, a comfort zone. So no cutting or self deprectiation.
I've kinda fallen for this old game I started a few days ago. The Longest Journey. A point and click adventure, with this reallly arching story and wonderful deep characters, its sucked me in and wants me to stay. Theres a sequel too, but my lowly laptop cannot handle it well. Doesn't matter though, I loe the first one and will play it to death.
Its also making me get back to my roots in an artistic sense. I'm drawing alot better from my imagination again, as opposed to from whats in front of me. It feels good, like stretching for limbs after a long ride, a kind of reset of, well everything I suppose.
No video this time, as I cannot find much thats relevant. But I advise anyone who stumbles upon this jumble of words I send out into the vast electronic unknown to seek this Journey, this April Ryan, and see for yourself.
