I was watching rock center about hurricane sandy and that made me very sad. Hearing so many lost loved ones and the destruction of many communities. There's this 60-something year old retired grandmother saying that the house that she and her husband worked so hard for 30 years to pay off has been destroyed. She is now homeless and helpless. 2 very young boys swept away from their mother then died. Many other sad stories I can't remember made me cry. I am so grateful that I live in california and had not had to endured the dangers of hurricane sandy but at the same time feel so sad for the victims of the hurricane at the east coast. Really wish I could be over there and help in any way. East coast people, stay strong.
