Maybe you just had to be there but I still think it's quote-worthy.

So, I have been bad at keeping my journal current and it's only going to get worse. In 4 days I travel to Ecuador for a month followed by a week in the Galapagos Islands. I'm going down there with a program called HelpLearnDiscover HLD...ecuaexperience.com to do some good while brushing up on my Spanish. It should be incredible and as excited as I am, I am also somewhat apprehensive about traveling. Hopefully, in so much as they're all silly, my worries will disappear once I'm on the road or rather in the air. In any event, I'm one lucky kiddo. So anyways, my apologies if I am remiss in updating my journal for the next month or so; let that reflect well upon my time down there and not poorly upon me.
