We list a line chef, Saturday morning, after being admitted to the hospital on Tuesday. Hugo was 34, and was a great chef for our team. Well liked by the back of house, versatile across the line, great attitude, and always was smiling. He started as a dish washer and built himself up through his work ethic and willingness to learn. He leaves behind two kids in Mexico whom he adored and was sending money home for them to be able to move to Indiana.
This is s the fourth member of my restaurant family to have passed in four years. Three whom I had contact with just before their passing. I hope that Hugo will find peace and I know his spirit will continue to support and uplifting those of us he leaves behind
