So a big part of my job application process is getting faculty members who know me to write me letters of recommendation. On of my committe members, who I thought really liked me, has not responded to my email asking if I could use him as a reference. I know he's on campus, and he has responded to emails from other people sent after mine. Which of course means that he doesn't think he can write me a good letter.





I find this profoundly upsetting.
