So this past weekend I went to Trenton NJ to protest the NSMs annual convention. For those of you that don't know, NSM (National Socialist Movement) is currently the largest Neo-nazi group in the States. Me and 4 other members of Columbus Anti-Racist Action (ARA) carpooled. We met up with Chicago, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Hub City and Trenton ARA members. There were also 2 SHARP (skinhead against racial prejudice) crews that came. There were also other groups, such as the New Black Panther Party, as well as just a lot of pissed off citizens of Trenton. Thankfully I can say we greatly outnumbered the Nazis. I dunno how politically involved anyone reading this is, if you partake in activism or etc but if you've ever gone to a rally like this you know its disheartening to see these sort of things still go on in America. And these past couple years theres been a great increase in the white power movement, these assholes exploit the political unrest with the Tea Party/ election of a black president/ current immigration issues to their advantage to create a whole new seemingly willing crop of otherwise decent Americans, into organizations of people whose anger and confusion are redirected to all the wrong places. Its organizations like the NSM that pick at the very seams of America until we're more divided and torn apart than we've ever been, and don't even know how it happened. Crime and poverty are a class issue, not a race issue and these examples are used again and again to show superiority over another because of race. The irony? By scientific definition, race does not exist.

This post is awesome. I've been dealing with a lot of racist shit from so-called friends lately and I'm about to lose my mind. It is really refreshing to see there are people like you out there who are doing their part to combat racism and ignorance. Rock on!

Loving that last sentence, oh so very true. Also loving the Dropkick video. My favorite song off the new album.
