Yep, today is my birthday. How about that? Plans for the day? Ten hour shift at work. I know, too much excitement.
Don't worry, I went to a concert on Friday with a friend and spent time with the family on the weekend too, plus I'm getting to meet Neil Gaiman on Thursday and getting his newest book and more time with friends so... It really isn't all that bad.
Been a wild year though. Quite a bit has changed, people have come and gone in my life, and death has taken a few. So, I pause to contemplate and am simply thankful for another year, more time to be my own badass self, to live, to love, to know the pains of life as well as its joys. So thankful for so much, and for new friends as well.
