believe it or not, i'm still alive.
hello my lovely SG family. it's poetic. and yes, i'm still here.
life has been kind of hectic lately. let me tell you a little bit about it.
i work. ok, well i know that doesn't sound all that interesting, but it is. i work A LOT, which is good because come july and august, there will be no work. i spend lots of time with steven. it helps that we work for the same company and he lives near it. and i love spending time with him. on that note, i want to tell all of you about the awesome day i had yesterday.
saturday night sucked. i had a load out at 11pm that lasted until 5:30am. i was not happy. all i wanted to do was go to bed. on sunday, i was not sure whether or not i had to work. i called the ME to check, and never got a response.
so, steven and i went to lunch. we hit up an italian restaurant in rockville, and the weather was so nice, we ate outside.
during lunch, steven was inspired. it was a perfect day to fly a kite. we went to cvs and bought two kites (his was yu-gi-yo and mine was spider man) for $6. we then headed over to sligo creek park and flew them. it was amazing. the wind was so good, we both got our kites to their longest reach a few times. i was laughing and giggling and yelling and smiling. it was a really nice time.
afterwards, we went to the industrial park where the atmo shop is. apparently, down the road a little, there is recycling trash cans. i emptied out my backseats, which were full of bottles and cans. steven was a little shocked at the amount of stuff i had back there. once my duty to the environment had been fulfilled, steven showed me how to get to a do-it-yourself car wash on rhode island ave near college park. he then treated my car to a full cleaning. we vacuumed the floors and the mats, washed the car and the mats, and he ended up doing most of the work. this place is awesome. it is called ez car wash. it is at the intersection of rhode island ave and sunnydale. i highly reccommend.
we then went to columbia. he was curious about uno's, the place i used to work at. we each had a beer and shared an appetizer at the bar. according to the bartender, only one other person (besides himself) is still left from the era when i worked. all the rest of the staff is gone.
we finished our night by seeing meet the robinsons...IN 3-D!!! it was great! they even showed an old 3-D movie from the 1950's before the movie.
all-in-all, it was one of the best days i've ever had. steven makes me so happy. just to be around him makes me smile. it's not perfect, but it is amazingly good.
yeah, my life is going well. i only hopes it stays this way, or maybe get even better.
as always, i miss ya'll and i will do my best to drop by more often to say hi and check on my family.
for now, i have to dash. time to go to work.
