it's rainy. and cold. yuck.
tonight is the first friday night i've had off in probably two months. so, i'm going to bed early. i have a 10am gig in bethesda tomorrow. oh well.
SGB was the awesomeness. charm city was represented by a few fun folks, including the wonderful Benzovodka who provided me with a ticket. tsu tsi ma mi rae rocked it. they've learned more english since the last show, which was refreshing, but all of their songs are still in japanese. the girls were hot, of course! (a few notable scenes: "missed me" by the desden dolls where a girl beats up a guy, "darling niki" by prince with my favorite girl of the night doing amazing things on an ottoman, a holla-hoop dance with hip control i can only dream of having, and the multiple group dances with creative choreography (yet another use was found for the "little giant" ladder))
i had the great fortune of meeting deadsweetheart and his friend amy while waiting in line. we chatted and sat together at the show. our seats were in the balcony right next to the stage. deadsweetheart was actually the guy who got beat up, which made the show even more entertaining. and amy got a set list from the bassist. after the show she got it signed. all-in-all a good night.
random question: why are guys so flirty?
explanation: i had four different guys hit on me today. two were welcomed (two guys from my work i'm attracted to) and two weren't. so, what is it with guys hitting on me so much lately? is there something in the air? is it because i don't want anyone right now (life playing a joke or being ironic)? thoughts...
