i just had one of the longest and most stressful weekends ever.
short version:
- friday lunch shift at Uno's and graduation party that night at my new house
- saturday dinner shift at Uno's and i didn't get off work til 1am
- sunday double at Uno's that ended up with me being there from 10:30am til 1am (yes, 14 1/2 fucking hours at that hell hole )
i kinda don't want to elaborate on most of the shit that went down these past three days. it just seems like an exercise in futility and narcissism. i will say, tho, that i really HATE Uno's with a passion i can not put into words. they wanted me to close saturday night, even tho i was a double the next day. i cried out of frustration, talked to a manager, and got a lower cut spot, but i shouldn't have to do that. it seems to me that they end up running away their employees instead of helping and nurturing them. and as soon as i can, i will no longer be their employee.
i made some ok money this weekend, but i had to miss a friend's graduation party in the process, which sucked. granted i got to attend my own grad party, but it was populated with my boyfriend's friends, not mine. i had fun, but sometimes you miss your personal and your usual experiences.
i think i've blathered on enough. i've got to get to the library more often so i can keep up on how everyone is doing. and i promise, i will try harder.
think good thoughts for me all. i'm thinking them for you.
