I AM ALIVE!!! i swear!
sorry people. this past week has been hectic as all hell.
i moved. me and the boyfriend are sharing a bedroom in a townhouse in laurel with two really cool guys. i haven't been able to unpack yet, tho. i moved on monday and have had work every day since then.
the internet and cable are not in the house yet. they come this wednesday.
my mother met my boyfriend. that was...fun.
Cairo and chole003 and Tigerwong have also met him and they approve. we all went to chill at howl at the moon last night, which was awesome. there was this one girl there in a britney spears baby one more time type outfit. we stared at her half the time were there. we also saw X-3 at towson commons. chole and her girl couldn't tho cause it was sold out by the time they got there. word to the wise: movietickets.com is your friend.
following the movie, us two couples visited a few porn shops to no avail. oh well.
random moment of the night: Cairo introduced me to death cab for cutey. i had heard of them but never had i heard their music. i loved it and plan on getting a copy of the music from her. one song i loved in particular had a chorus that was so emotionally powerful to me, it made me cry. the only words i can remember are "someday you will be loved." the song took me back to what it felt like in high school and college, not having anyone, longing for those i could never have, the anguish i lived almost everyday cause i felt so alone in the world. all i wanted was someone to love me and whom i can love. *warning: sappy moment* now, tho, it feels like i've found that person. he's sitting right next to me in this library. he seems to always be by my side, physical or otherwise. thank you life for giving me such a beautiful person and soul to love.
last thing: going to a party tonight in DC. hopefully the kiddies from HFStival won't slam Uno's too bad. i would like to get off sometime before 3am.
that is all. must do real work now before my blasted serving job. see some of you tonight. otherwise, i'm out.

Lil trivia- Death Cab for Cutie are named for a Bonzo Dog Doodah Band song. I had the album it was on from Lake Oswego library a couple weeks ago, Gorilla. It was surprisingly jazz-oriented, considering they did this boogie song that an indie-rock band named themselves after (and which they perform in The Beatles's Magical Mystery Tour movie).

I'd like to personally thank you for jumpstarting the removal of clothes! You're a true solider in a just cause!
