my life has turned to shit.
monday started out well enough. it was coupley and cute with me and alex cooking dinner and watching a movie. and then we headed out to see MI3. but, when we got home, my world came crashing down.
my roommate is in the military and she has just been transferred to CALIFORNIA!!! she has to report to work by May 29th, meaning she has to leave here by May 23rd. her name is on the lease. she is breaking the lease and leaving. i have to be out by the 23rd. i no longer have a place to live.
so....
my ass is now scrambling to find another roommate. i can't afford a one bedroom just yet. i haven't completely figured out how to balance my theatre jobs (to get a max income) with my serving job and bartending job. not only that, but now i have to quit my bartending job. it conflicts with theatre and doesn't pay enough. there aren't enough bartenders to allow me to take days off, so i have no choice. also, i had to cancel my obligation to lighting design a show in college park because the gas prices are too high and i need to work instead. things just seem to get worse and worse.
the only good thing about this is my boyfriend is trying to help. he is asking family members for loans and looking up roommate options for me as well.
why is it that when one part of your life is going well, the other part has to turn to feces?

i must agree both with the craigslist recommendation and the don't take a loan from the significant other's family recommendations. sorry to give nothing new, just affirmation.

How is the apartment hunting going? If I see any good deals, I'll let you know. Keep us posted!
