i had a root canal today!
and it was possibly one of the most traumatizing experiences of my life. but, it's over. my teeth throbs a bit. the novacain has worn off (good cause i can talk and won't drool when i sleep, bad cause i have to be hopped up on meds to keep my mouth from making me want to die).

my car wouldn't start earlier tonight. i called AAA, and they have this lovely option where they replace your battery for you right there and then.

one of my many crushes ceased to be tonight. here, in a poem, describes when it happened:

There was a pause
Once we reached my car
When all I wanted was a kiss
Hoping you could see it in my eyes
But instead you gave a hug
And I knew that was all I could hope to get
