made good money at work today. turns out on Good Friday parents like to take their kids out to restaurants and turn their meals into vegetarian dishes. the most annoying table of 5 kids and 2 parents tipped me well, so i forgive them.
no dinner shift for tonight. instead i'm drinking a beer and playing on my laptop. i'll probably wash my hair, watch a movie, and then go to bed early. work this saturday and sunday night. easter lunch with the family before my shift.
hope everyone has a happy safe holiday.

I was proud of my mom for tipping as I would (I'd somehow gotten the impression my parents were low-tippers over the years) and even cleaning up a lot when we took my sister's infant to a big Chinese place. We had a cute Russian waitress too, so I wanted to make a good impression for no reason- well, for that reason. My niece has actually behaved great the two times the family went out in Denver.

we take our son out to eat all the time. he's not shy about grabbing the waitresses' butts (he's only one, so it's cute), but other than that, he's as pleasant as can be.
