the throbbing pain in my mouth, which nearly drove me to tears twice today, has broken me down. for the first time, since i was 7 years old, i am going to see a dentist. i made an appointment with a dentist at good samaritan hospital. (my mom used to work there and knows people.) i will be paying for everything out of pocket cause i have no insurance. the nice lady on the phone estimated it would probably be anywhere between $100-$200 for a cavity. i know for damn certain it will cost more cause as soon as i open my mouth, the dentist is gonna schedule me for oral surgery. if i had to guess, i think i'm gonna end up with a root canal or two and half a dozen fillings or more.
right now i'm slightly doped up on tylenol and yuengling. just something to make the pain go away so i can sleep. tomorrow i think i'll buy a bottle of meds on the way to work and make sure i pop two pills every four hours. it got to the point earlier today where i could barely focus on my job cause my mouth hurt so much.
my teeth are bastards. i want to take a hammer to them and knock them out of my mouth, or just knock me out so i don't have to feel the pain anymore.
